Lovely restaurant with traditional Norwegian dishes. The reindeer fillet was incredibly tender and delicious. The owner Helga is also a very very good host. We didn't get the wine but they have a very good selection of wines. Totally recommend it!

Very cool and different looking place to have a dinner. The building is very old and traditional. The staff was very friendly and did a great job. The steak was amazing.
Best food in town! Really recommend the reindeer meat. The service was really good and the environment also great. Best restaurant for fine cuisine.
I loved this restaurant. Great food and lovely service. It was fully booked that evening we went but we got a table sort of last minute and the owner/waitress still found time for a quick chat which made our evening. It is an old building and a part of Porsgrunns history which is very evident in its interior and atmosphere. Book a table in advance and enjoy!

This is an old cozy timber building with intimate and pleasant atmosphere. The staff recommended wine for the meal and were both friendly and professional. We ate reindeer that were tender and tasted excellent. Medium price level for a good restaurant. We will gladly visit "Michel Seylmager hus" on another occasion
